There are no mini fridges in the rooms (just the cabins) however, the extremely helpful staff were willing to store our cooler bag of items in their walk in fridge overnight as well as our ice pack in their freezer. “Normaway Inn offers a peaceful and unique countryside experience, far away from the noise and crowds. The property is surrounded by beautiful rural scenery, and the quiet atmosphere made our stay feel especially relaxing. One of the highlights was spending the evening around the fire, which created a warm and memorable experience. “The waterfront views and location are the best things about this property. However, the unit is very dated and doesn’t match the price. The furnishings need updating, the A/C only worked by plugging it in or unplugging it, the Wi-Fi stopped working after the first day, and we had no hot water until maintenance reset the system. With some renovations and better maintenance, this could be a great place to stay.”

“Cute place to stay to start a Cape Breton Tour. We overnighted here before a golf trip at Cabot Links. Our chalet was very functional and cozy. The dinner and live music were excellent and fun! Check out was slow and inconvenient- staff have multiple duties that slowed things down.”

“Was pleasantly surprised at how lovely and well maintained this property was. We stayed in room 8 which gave us our own balcony with chairs to enjoy our morning coffee. We also loved that they thought of everything robes for the hot tub, tea and Nespresso coffee , snacks and wonderful bath products . It is on the Main Street of Chéticamp which I hadn’t noticed in booking but it was a wonderful haven for our last night of our road trip nonetheless.”

“The Fiddle and the Sea BnB was great. The room was very clean and spacious. My room had a private bathroom. It was a quiet place. The breakfast had a set menu, but it was very good and had a few options like the kind of toast you wanted and a choice of beverage. Sometimes its the little things that make a difference. I noticed homemade cookies in our room, some chocolates. A coffee maker with different kind of coffees or tea was a nice convience. There's a few restaurants near. The other thing……
