“House was too clean, everything was there a toaster, coffee maker, a fridge, bbq, tv and outside view was too good.”

“Heater not working. No Lights on property. Hard luck to get there. Simply disgusting for a lot of money. Avoid at all costs”

“We hope they can add an electric water kettle because we don't drink coffee.”

“This property is ideally located to visit the various regions in Cape Breton. It is close to good food (try the chowder at Charlene's) and fuel. The accommodation is warm, dry and quiet. It has a great shower with plenty of hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful”

“Clean and quaint cabins located in picturesque Margaree Valley. Staff were super friendly and we loved all of their little stories. Also had wonderful music the night we were there. Will definitely be back!”

“+Propreté et confort de la literie. Gentillesse du personnel. On s'est déplacé à notre chambre pour nous aider avec le téléviseur. -Rideau de douche pas très accueillant, comme partout ailleurs et très long avant d'avoir de l'eau chaude”

“These cabins are in the most amazing location overlooking the coast down to a beach. The hosts were very friendly on arrival. The cabin was comfortable and well equipped to self cater in. We stayed 2 nights as a base for driving the Cabot trail which worked well. Laundry facilities on site were great.”

“Absolutely beautiful location — a must-visit! Thanksgiving weekend was truly a feast for the eyes, with breathtaking fall colours, stunning valley views, and nature at its finest. 🍁”

“Beautiful location owners were great.. helpful, congenial, entertaining (breakfast fiddle!) breakfast delicious with great coffee. Was our best experience of the 7 nights in Cape Breton”

“We loved our room. The mid-century decor and furniture were a hit. We wish we could have stayed another night.”

Sheer curtains or windows cling to allow light in whike maintaining privacy, would be nice. Ice machines. Though the host provided ice which was great . Would recommend”

“Just a little cold. But all good. Im enjoy the place . I’ll come back”

“This stay was outside of my comfort zone as someone who doesn’t camp. The RV was fine for the most part, but a little tired and the toilet and the blinds were not the cleanest. The power was out for a few hours which can’t be controlled, but Shannon assured me he would hook up a generator if it remained out. It did come back on in the evening thankfully. I was told I was the only guest staying in an RV until the weekend so it was just Shannon the owner’s family, and I. Half of my shower was……

“I love this place. Will come back”

“Beautiful, new, clean, comfortable beds & linens, microwave, fridge. Keurig coffee maker with fresh milk/cream in the fridge, which was a lovely touch, as I hate coffee creamers. Laundry available after 5pm, which again is a nice perk when traveling for an extended time.”

“although the pod was small, it was comfortable. Although the kitchen was shared it was well equipped and not busy. Being a bit older not having an attached washroom was not great.”
